Helical piers are innovative, quickly-installed deep foundation solutions. They can be used to secure new or repair existing foundations, and have a variety of other uses in mitigation and construction. Their design and installation efficiency makes them ideal solutions for projects where soil conditions would prevent the use of standard foundation solutions. 

 

Our piers can be used for new builds (such as home foundations, decks, pole barns, docks, boardwalks, etc.) as well as foundation mitigation due to partial or total foundation failure. In cases like this, in lieu of the expensive process of pouring a new concrete foundation, we can  quickly support, stabilize, or even lift a failing foundation back into place. This offers a permanent solution with a single pier supporting up to 70,000 pounds. Helical piers are also useful for construction on unsuitable terrain, such as steep hills or soil with insufficient compaction capabilities. 

 

In our area, we know that many new home foundations are being poured directly onto clay and other unstable materials. We have already begun to see severe settling in homes which result in a myriad of issues. Partnering with the right engineers and geo-techs, we hope to include helical piers in the original design for local homes to ensure a solid foundation that will not sink when installed on unsuitable terrain. Pouring new foundations around our placed helical piers will prevent the foundation from sinking or settling from the outset.
